Terms of Service
Effective June 4, 2026
Acceptance
By accessing or using PoolTime (the Service) at pooltime.io, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What PoolTime is
PoolTime provides informational estimates of when a location is likely to be in sunlight, based on the position of the sun, modeled shading from third-party building and terrain data, and weather forecasts. It is provided for personal, informational use.
Estimates only; no warranty
Forecasts are modeled estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete, and the underlying data may be out of date or missing. The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Do not rely on PoolTime for safety-critical, health, financial, or other consequential decisions.
Availability and early access
PoolTime is in early access. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we limit how many new forecasts we process per day, so the Service may be temporarily unavailable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or other protections; (b) scrape, bulk-download, or resell the data or outputs; (c) reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service; or (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may rate-limit or block traffic that we consider abusive.
Third-party data and terms
PoolTime relies on Google Maps Platform, MapTiler, and Open-Meteo. Your use of mapping and solar content is also subject to the terms of those providers, including the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. Mapping and solar data are the property of their respective owners.
Intellectual property
The PoolTime name, design, and software are owned by PoolTime Technologies LLC. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software except to use the Service as intended.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoolTime Technologies LLC and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
